Rajgarh is a city and a municipality in Alwar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is a neat small town and has scenic hills dotted with some

Rajgarh was earmarked as the capital of the Alwar princely state in the early 19th century. Today it is a major agricultural centre with a RIICO industrial park. It lies on the main railway line between Jaipur and Delhi via Bandikui junction. It is linked to NH 11 or Jaipur-Agra highway (to the South) at Sikandra and to Alwar City (to the North) via the well maintained State Highway 25. Rajgarh is very close to the famed Sariska Tiger Reserve National The mangoes of Rajgarh are famous in all Rajasthan. It is also known for a sweet called “peda” which is famous in all Rajasthan. It has a famous historical fort called “kankwari kila”, this fort is famous because of all the paintings and an ancient tample of lord Ram. The mughle empror Aurengzeb’s son Darasikoh was a prisoner in this fort.Rajgarh also has some tourist places. In 2011, the city was awarded ‘the most cleaned city’ in Alwar.The Neelkanth temple is situated in this tehsil.
